Your first appointment
Your first appointment is an assessment appointment.

If you are offered an appointment in our service, your first appointment with us will be a consultation where we may examine you, and will aim to start treating your condition.
An examination may involve close inspection of the problem area, and any related areas. This may require you to remove your outer clothing items ie:
- For arm/shoulder problems we may assess the upper back and neck areas.
- For knee problems we may assess feet and/or hip and back areas.

We also cannot inject if you are on antibiotics and the procedure would be delayed until 3 weeks after you had completed the course of antibiotics.
